We’re joined by Matt Hosanee from Sun Startups Essentials and James Proud from Giglocator, the location-based live music and ticketing service, for an inspiring session about entrepreneurs in the digital age.

Matt Hosanee (Sun Microsystems)

headshot-chair-modMatt Hosanee is a senior technologist, strategist & evangelist for Sun Microsystems. He is responsible for growing the market across Europe, Middle-East and Africa with the startup and emerging business program.

With a Computer Science background, Matt is a 12-year veteran of Sun Microsystems, and is based out of the company’s United Kingdom HQ.

His expertise in technology adoption, social platforms, developer communities, and architecture scalability has made him a frequent speaker around the world. Matt can be found at entrepreneurial and technology events, but also lectures at leading universities across Europe including Oxford University,England, KTH Royal Institute of Technology,Sweden & the Technical University of Berlin.

James Proud (GigLocator.com)

James is the Founder and CEO of GigLocator.com. James is also responsible for the design and development processes of the site and related properties. Prior to founding GigLocator, as a designer and developer he worked with companies such as Coca-Cola and Universal Music creating web presences for some of their live music events and artists. Teaching himself code at a young age, moving onto freelancing for companies and other start-ups; a natural progression into his start-up GigLocator.

A definite must for everyone who is interested in doing anything even remotely related with technology.
