Hey guys,

I hope you are all enjoying your reading week, because we all know, Reading Week is just an excuse to procrastinate even more.

But don’t fear: We’ve got our Web Workshop this week, that will pull you away from the old books, and show you how to create your online identity in the 21st century!

Make It! Website Workshop
Thursday, 6pm at HITT Lab (Horton Building)
http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=304749083993

Following on from our incredibly popular web workshop last term, Royal Holloway Entrepreneurs will be presenting an improved version of the workshop this Thursday from 6pm to 8pm in partnership with Bold Media.

This workshop will include instructions on how to set up a basic WordPress website as well as a web shop using WordPress (a basic ecommerce platform).

With this event you will receive a domain name (registered for two years) that will be fully set up and ready to run WordPress with a two year hosting package (1.5 GB disk space, 5 GB bandwidth). This comprises a saving of about 95% on market rates.

Workshop, domain and hosting for 2 years only £25.00!

Please note: Registration is REQUIRED!

You can see all the other videos we’ve made available here.

Competitions

Since the last newsletter, there have been quite a few new competitions that have emerged.

Ranging from getting a spot in a mall, to 250.000£ and even a possibility to pitch to Doug Richard.

All the competitions can be found here.

So get your idea pad out, and jot down your ideas, and be one of the winners of these great competitions!

That’s it for reading week!

I hope to see you tomorrow at our Web Workshop at 6pm!
