NACUE’s growing and over the past month they have been interviewing, hiring and looking to grow their team.
They’ve been recognised by Davos World Economic Forum and UK government as a national and international leading youth network. Over the past three years they have built a network of 70 student enterprise societies, with access to a network of over 30,000 students in the UK. They want you to be part of this network!

Their ideal candidate is:

What to expect from the job:
- You will be responsible for building relationships with student enterprise societies inyour region
- To be involved with developing the enterprise societies and their sustainability
- Development of a regional peer support network and national events
- You will be required to complete assessments of student societies, their membersand the services they provide
- To develop relationships / partnerships with university staff and local entrepreneurs
- It is your responsibility to encourage Enterprise Societies to become as involved withNACUE activities as possible, including wider engagement from students who are nota member of a student lead society
- Train and mentor student enterprise societies, with reference to the NACUE policy,maturity model and best practice
Salary & Benefits: Up to £15,000
Bonus up to 10% of salary
Contract until 31st March 2012

Everyone with a creative idea or embarking on a new business is invited to participate in Cr
eative Entrepreneurs!
Creative Entrepreneurs is an ‘idea journey’ – participants will have the opportunity to develop their business concept from idea to draft business plan. If you’ve already started your business, this is also an opportunity to review and update your current business plan.
Leading experts will deliver four days of intensive training in Business Planning, Marketing, Presenting and Pitching. The fifth day is a networking event – Entrepreneurs the Next Generation – with a panel of successful young entrepreneurs discussing how they made their dreams a reality. The first four days cost £50 and the fifth day is free for all to attend.
Participants will pitch present their idea or business concept to the panel and one lucky winner will walk away with a £500 to develop or start up their business.
- 1. What’s the big idea?

Day one covers Registration and gives you an opportunity to begin clearly documenting your idea and start to identify your immediate goals. It will cover brainstorming, understanding your markets and competitors, what a USP is and whether or not you need one, market testing and research.
- 2. Business Basics for Entrepreneurs

Day two of Creative Entrepreneurs offers participants the opportunity to focus on the business of their idea or concept. Simple exercises will help you to identify how far along the path to success your idea or business concept is. The day will help you recognise your strengths and highlight areas that need further development. Moving you one step closer to making your business dream a reality!
- 3. Presenting, Pitching & Developing your Brand Wednesday 14 September 2011, 10am-4pm
BDC, 7-15 Greatorex St, London E1 5NF
Day three will show you what pitching is, how to improve your sales presentations and an introduction to branding.
Pitching for work is an essential aspect of getting work for creative businesses. First impressions count – so the first time you meet your client officially is really important – as this can turn potential clients into REAL clients.
This workshop will prepare you to pitch your idea to the panel during the finale event “Entrepreneurs the next Generation.”
4. My Idea and the Internet
Thursday 15 September 2011, 10am-5pm
BDC, 7-15 Greatorex Street, London E1 5NFDay four will focus on getting your idea to market using the internet. In just one day, learn all about digital marketing from those leading the way. Get inside the minds of the experts and discover the best way to get your product or services to potential customers.
This day will leave you feeling confident about everything from websites, social networking and CRM [you won’t be saying “what’s that?” when you finish this course] to campaigning, PR do’s and don’ts and more!
