A short description of yourself:
I am a perfectionist, I love my job as much as the air I breathe, I could not imagine doing anything else. I think I’m funny, and enjoy having fun with my engineers, who also seem to think I’m funny, I’m hoping this is because I AM funny, and not because I am their boss! I used to play semi pro football in Germany, and after a very bad knee injury, and several operations I had to give it up, I started coaching instead, and was a paid professional coach for quite a few years.

I love sports, and when I had more time I completed Iron Man Triathlons, for enjoyment.
I used to work in Indonesia, and this is where my love of travel began, normally I’ll travel at least once a month, if it’s a quiet month. Sometimes I’m only home long enough to sleep, grab a new luggage and leave again.
Currently I am travelling back and forth from the UK to Saudi Arabia where my company is installing high spec lifts for the King of Saudi Arabia. This is a huge contract, and will hopefully define our company.
I was never great in school, aside from Math; I loved it, and understood it more than most of my class, which is a great gift to have in my industry.
I started as an apprentice of Electrical Engineering, when I was 17 and have never looked back on my career choice.
I am currently in negotiations with a manufacturer in China to expand our company, and travel back and forth to meet with the CEO of this firm, in the hopes we can come to a mutual agreement.
There are times I cannot believe myself that I started as an Electrical Engineer Apprentice, and have achieved so much through will power alone.

My work experience includes travel all over the world, aside from Australia and New Zealand, however this is on my bucket list.  I am called out to trouble shoot the controllers when they are not able to do it themselves. Finding the faults to me is probably the most enjoyable part of my job, I love it and would probably never give it up.

I am comfortable communicating with students in either English, German or Turkish.

I am hoping to pass on the passion of this trade, as it’s a unique trade and not everyone is cut out for the travel and intensity of the work. I’d like to know that new generations are interested in this spectrum of the Engineering field
