NACUE Society of the week

Royal Holloway Entrepreneurs are the first ever NACUE Society of the Week!

This prestigious new award is given to the UK society that has acheived the most to promote entrepreneurship at their insitution – and we are the first winners.

Victoria Lennox, CEO of the National Consortium of University Entrepreneurs said, “Royal Holloway Entrepreneurs has already secured its place as one of the strongest societies in the UK. They have engaged students with a range of interests – from internet to creative enterprises – and embraced social media marketing. The future holds great things for this new society. Watch out Cambridge and Oxford!”

Here’s a photo of Jack accepting the award from Matt Smith, NACUE Groups Director. Well done to all the team!

Photos from the den

Some great photos from our launch event on Thursday 8th October 2009 in the Students’ Union. We also have these on our Facebook page – if you see yourself, don’t forget to tag yourself (unless it’s a horrible photo, in which case we’ll let you off).

Bright futures

Jack and I both travelled to TVU in Ealing last week for the WestFocus Bright Futures event – we both loved it! As well as meeting lots of entrepreneurs, we had 3 packed days of workshops, games, networking and pitching. Sad to say, we both ducked out of the karaoke. I promised I’d sing next time – if we bring enough people with us to make it embarrassing enough!!
