Kick Start - the largest ever seed investment programme supported by university entrepreneurial societies – is back for 2011. Kick Start is a seed investment programme for entrepreneurs, run by entrepreneurs.

Entrants can earn an investment of up to £30,000 in their business as well as gaining invaluable advice, support and mentoring.

The Kick Start programme is looking for the very best and brightest entrepreneurs.

Oxford Entrepreneurs’ company purchased by Google

PlinkArt, a company run by two Oxford PhD students and incubated by Oxford Entrepreneurs, have become the first UK company to be purchased by US tech giants Google. Their technology, a mobile visual search system, will be integrated into Google Goggles.
